I've been to Dr. Howell several times over the years. He has always been friendly, professional, compassionate, a good listener and his work is amazing! His front office team and nurses are ALL so very kind and always greet you with a smile (this is so hard to find these days). Dr. Howell, his office staff and nurses are also very responsive to your needs, questions and concerns and I always receive a call back the same day (again, not so common these days). I really appreciated the card and calls after surgery too! It felt personable and like I was a person, not just a number. Thank you all for the great care.

Dr. Tucker is such a kind, knowledgeable physician. I felt comfortable and informed through the entire process. I would highly recommend Dr. Tucker and Salem Plastic Surgery.

From the consultation appointment, to now being 5 weeks post op from a “Mommy Makeover,” I was treated like royalty. If you choose Dr. Hampton Howell (Dr. HH) at Salem Plastic Surgery, you can expect expert level of care with total wrap around services. You will always be greeted by the staff in a warm manner and know when Dr. HH comes in with his, “Hello, Hello,” you have his undivided attention & being provided superior care. I had bariatric surgery in 2017 & maintained 120lbs weight loss resulting saggy skin, & breasts. I wanted to look & feel better about my appearance. I previously worked for a well-known, prestigious dermatology office that often referred pts for skin cancer surgery to SPS. I knew that this office was the place to start researching. I spent months reading reviews, social media, & getting recommendations from friends. All signs pointed back to Dr. HH who is board certified with the American Board of Plastic Surgery & has over 15 yrs of plastics experience. Getting the consult appt & completing the new pt forms was easy. At the consult I was greeted by Luz & Arancy. Dr. Howell spent over 40 min going over procedures, implants & goals vs. reality. I'm a nurse, there were technical things I needed to know and Dr. HH was great at explaining. I pursued a breast lift with Ideal Implants & a tummy tuck with lipo. Rachel, explained the costs & next steps to schedule the surgery. I had 4 mo wait for a date due to the length of surgery & OR availability at SPS. I wanted surgery at SPS as it is an accredited surgical center & wanted a full experience of being cared for by SPS staff where they do have plastics pts every day & I knew I'd be in great hands. I could have had it earlier at the hospital. However, there are mixed surgeries performed & staff that were not his own. My many calls to ask things were greeted with patience in getting answers. My preop appt was about a mo out. Jade RN, went over pre & postop info. Dr. HH confirmed the plan was the same. SPS ensured getting preop labs, mammogram & supplies was easy for me. Becky, completed my FMLA paperwork & kept me informed. Day of Surgery, I got to the office at 750 and by this time, the staff knew me by name & got me checked in quickly. I was brought back to a heated stretcher, which was nice! I was efficiently prepped for the OR by an experienced CRNA, Daniel, and RN's. Daniel, got my IV the first time & it didn’t hurt at ALL. Dr. HH came in & performed surgical markings & we spent time talking about his journey becoming a plastic surgeon & his passion of engineering the best outcomes for pts. Jade was there in recovery. I felt reassured having a familiar face when waking up. It was 6pm on Friday evening & the staff didn’t act like they were in a hurry to leave. Dr. HH made sure I was good to go home. Postop & Beyond: Recovery went well due to the excellent preop education in what to do, what to look for & how to care for myself. I was uncomfortable for a few days, but that is to be expected. The 1st post op appt a week later, all things were great. The 2nd week appt, the tape came off & I could finally see what I was going to look like. There was a slight hiccup with my abd incision, and had to utilize the on-call service where a surgeon asked all the right questions & got me started on antibiotics. That Monday I was immediately seen by Dr. HH & he taught me how to perform wound care to the site twice a day. Dr. HH closely monitored me twice a week to make sure I was getting better, and my wound was healing. Things happen when you have surgery at no fault of the care, or the surgeon. Key point: Things happen when you have surgery at no fault of the care, or the surgeon. I was impressed by the level of attention and dedication that Dr. Howell had to make sure I had the supplies that I needed and I understood what was going on. Now 5 weeks out, I am feeling back to myself & able to start doing more. I am going to the Renewal MedSpa to keep my relationship with the office because I love it so much.

Dr Howell is a fabulous Doctor! He is highly skilled, extremely intelligent and informed. Dr Howell listened to my concerns and was not dismissive or impatient. His staff was always kind, respectful, and very attentive. Thank you for taking excellent care of me. Highly recommend Dr Howell and his staff!

Okay so I have been to many doctors offices, some hundreds of times and they still have no idea who I am. It’s a completely different experience here at salem Plastic surgery. After the first time I came in, I didn’t even have to check in anymore. I’d walk through the doors and they’d yell “hey Kayla! I’ll check you in!”. Very personal. I love the customer service and the women in the office. Also, doctor Howell did an AMAZING job on my breast aug. Fantastic experience all around! I would highly recommend to anyone!

I have had 2 services done by Kayla at Renewal Med Spa! A facial and micro needling. From the moment you walk into the spa everyone makes you feel so welcomed and relaxed! They are genuinely so welcoming and supportive and care about you and your skin care treatments! They don’t try to “push” anything on you! I have found my new skin care treatment home! Give them a call for any questions or just a consultation! Kayla is so super helpful and sweet!

I was referred by a friend and even after hearing about how wonderful her experience was I was still nervous, but Dr Hampton and his staff made me feel so comfortable throughout my procedure and after. My results are even better than I had hoped for and has helped me regain my confidence.

I am very satisfied with the results of my procedure. I love the time that the team took to explain everything to me in detail beforehand, the flexibility for appointments, after care, etc. I would definitely consider going back for another need.

I was very comfortable entrusting my care to Dr. Tucker. He has a wonderful bedside manner backed by years of experience. His protocol starts two weeks prior to surgery with a regimen of vitamins to aid in the healing process. Post surgery I am pleased to say that I look refreshed and natural. Overall, really great experience and if you are looking for a change I would definitely recommend.
